Prayer for the United States Military & thier AlliesFather God,Today I praise and worship You because of Your Love and Grace. I ask that you Hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them, allow them to see all dangers in thier path. Expose all tricks and deceitful practices of the enemy. Bless them and their families who so selflishly give of thier time and love of our fighting men and women. Pay thier bills as thier loved one serves to protect our freedoms. Father I also pray for the troops of our allies and thier families. For our enemies I pray that you send harvesters into the field to proclaim the Love which you have for all mankind! That those men and women who stand against us and our allies find the love and life which you sent to them through your Son, Jesus. May they become living witnesses for You, just as the jailer who held Silas and Paul prisoner in the book of Acts, chapter 16. I ask this in the name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen |

Kingdom Connection Ministries received the following in an e-mail. After reading the e-mail we have decided to publish it on this site for all to read and be blessed.Soldier's/Sailor's Field BibleIt was quiet that day, the guns and the mortars, and land mines for some reason hadn't been heard. It was Sunday, the holiest day of the week. As a young soldier was sitting in his barracks, he got out an old deck of cards and laid them out across his bunk. Just then an army sergeant came in and said, 'Why aren't you with the rest of the platoon?' The soldier replied, 'I thought I would stay behind and spend some time with the Lord.' The sergeant said, 'Looks to me like you're going to play cards.' The soldier said, 'No, sarge. You see, since we are not allowed to have Bibles or other spiritual books in this country, I've decided to talk to the Lord by studying this deck of cards.' The sergeant asked in disbelief, 'How will you do that?' | ||

The sergeant just stood there. After a minute, with tears in his eyes and pain in his heart, he said... |
'Soldier, can I borrow that deck of cards?' |
